Accounts & Verification
Account access, connected wallets, identity checks, and verification.
This page explains how Amy accounts begin, how wallet connection and email verification work together, and how account status, holder level and feature eligibility differ. Account Settings explains how to connect and disconnect account layers. Wallets & Safety covers wallet access and security.
1. How an Amy account begins
The typical account journey is:
- Browse Amy as a visitor.
- Connect an existing wallet or access an in-app wallet through the thirdweb-powered sign-in window.
- Enter an email address.
- Receive a six-digit verification code.
- Enter the six-digit code.
- Confirm that you are aged 18 or over and agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
- Complete the Amy account.
- Begin using the available Amy features.
- Optionally connect X, Discord or Telegram.
- Reach Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum where the connected wallet holds enough recognised AMY.
2. Browsing as a visitor
You can browse parts of Amy before connecting a wallet. Visitors may view public information and screens available to disconnected users. However, no wallet-linked Amy account session is active, so Amy cannot show private wallet-linked records. Some pages may show public information or a disconnected-state explanation. You can connect a wallet when ready.
3. Connecting a wallet
When you connect a wallet or sign in through the thirdweb-powered connection window, the selected wallet address becomes the main identity Amy uses for your account. You may connect an existing external wallet or access an in-app wallet through a supported sign-in method.
After connecting, you must complete email verification before normal app use. While connected but unverified, the verification screen remains in place and normal app use is unavailable.
Simple rule
Once a wallet is connected, complete email verification or disconnect and choose another wallet.
4. Completing email verification
The current verification flow is:
- Enter an email address.
- Select Send code.
- Receive a six-digit verification code.
- Enter the code.
- Select the required 18+ and policy confirmation.
- Complete email verification.
Each verified Amy email address can be connected to only one wallet at a time, and each wallet can have only one verified Amy email address at a time. If an email is disconnected, it may later be verified against another wallet. The original wallet-linked Amy records remain associated with the original wallet address.
See Account Settings for the full change-email process.
5. The 18+ and terms declaration
The required confirmation reads:
- I confirm that I am aged 18 or over and agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
- The checkbox is unticked by default. Verification cannot be completed until it is selected. The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy are linked from the screen.
Amy records that you declared you are aged 18 or over and accepted the versions of the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy presented during account completion. The record includes the wallet address, verified Amy email address, acceptance time and the versions or effective dates of the documents presented.
This is a user declaration, not formal age verification.
6. Your wallet address as the account identity
The connected wallet address is the main identity Amy uses for the account. Amy associates wallet-linked records with that address, including:
- Amy Points
- referrals
- badges
- raffle activity
- account history
- recognised holder level
- Amy Score eligibility and records where applicable
- other supported activity
Reconnecting the same wallet restores the same wallet-linked Amy identity. Connecting a different wallet opens or creates a different Amy identity. Amy does not automatically merge records from several wallets and does not verify whether several wallets belong to the same person.
Simple rule
Amy associates account records with the connected wallet address.
7. Amy account states
An Amy account moves through several states:
The account state affects which features and earning rates may be available, but individual features can have separate eligibility rules.
8. LITE users
A LITE user has a connected wallet and a verified Amy email address, but less than 300 recognised AMY in the connected wallet.
A LITE user has completed the basic Amy account. LITE users may use the normal parts of Amy available to their account. They can hold and use existing Amy Points where the relevant feature permits, and may complete available quests and other supported activity. They do not earn the hourly holder Points unlocked at Bronze level. Feature availability may still depend on separate product or provider rules.
Simple rule
LITE means the account is complete, but the connected wallet is below the Bronze AMY threshold.
9. Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum
The current holder levels begin at Bronze:
The level is based only on the recognised AMY balance held by the connected wallet. LP positions do not contribute to the holder level. Other tokens or assets do not contribute. Balances held by another wallet do not count and several wallets are not combined. The live account view shows the holder level Amy currently recognises.
10. Hourly Amy Points
The current hourly earning rates are:
Bronze is the first holder level that unlocks hourly Amy Points. The hourly rate depends on the recognised holder level. Amy records hourly Points against the wallet-linked Amy account. Moving between recognised holder levels changes the hourly rate that applies going forward. Falling below Bronze pauses future hourly holder earning. Already-earned Points remain associated with the wallet-linked account.
See the Points guide for the wider Points system.
11. How holder level is determined
Amy checks the recognised AMY balance of the connected wallet. The level shown reflects the wallet balance Amy currently recognises. LP positions are excluded from this level calculation. Balance changes may result in a different level. Balance changes may take time to appear until the relevant account or balance refresh has completed.
The live account view shows the level Amy currently recognises for the connected wallet.
12. Verification, level and eligibility are different
These three concepts serve different purposes.
Verification. The account has completed the required Amy email-verification process.
Holder level. The connected wallet holds enough recognised AMY for Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum. LITE is the completed-account state below the first holder level.
Feature eligibility. The account meets the separate requirements for a specific feature, campaign, route or product.
Eligibility may depend on verified account status, Amy Points balance, holder level, supported activity, a connected social account, location, provider requirements, sanctions restrictions, product capacity or feature-specific rules.
Simple rule
Verified does not mean eligible for every feature, and a holder level does not guarantee access to every product.
13. What Amy verifies, records and recognises
Amy verifies:
- successful completion of the six-digit Amy email-verification process
Amy records:
- the user's 18+ and policy acceptance declaration
- the versions or effective dates of the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy presented
- the connected wallet address
- successful optional links to X, Discord and Telegram
- supported wallet-linked account activity
Amy recognises:
- the AMY balance used for the current holder level
- supported activity used for relevant Amy features
A connected or verified status reflects Amy's account process. It is not formal legal identity verification.
14. What Amy does not verify
Amy does not currently perform formal checks of:
- legal name or government identity
- date of birth through identity documents
- residential address
- nationality
- whether one person controls several wallets
- source of funds
- suitability for financial products
- a person's wider ownership or control of off-platform accounts beyond the relevant linking process
Amy does not currently perform formal country or age verification as part of the basic Amy account flow. The 18+ checkbox is a declaration made by the user. Amy does not perform KYC for the basic Amy account. Where a third-party provider requires KYC or additional checks, those are handled by that provider.
15. Optional social connections
X, Discord and Telegram are optional account layers. They are not the main Amy account identity. Each social identity may be linked to one Amy wallet at a time.
Social connections may be used for quests, badges, community campaigns, leaderboards or activity matching. Not every Amy feature requires a social connection. Disconnecting a social may stop future activity attribution. Disconnecting a social account does not remove Points or badges already awarded for completed activity.
See Account Settings for connection controls.
16. When an account connection changes
Email disconnected. The wallet remains the account identity. Wallet-linked records remain associated with the wallet address. The account becomes unverified and normal app use is blocked by the verification screen. Another email address must be verified to restore normal use.
Wallet disconnected. Disconnecting ends the current session and logs you out. Amy records remain associated with the wallet address. Reconnecting the same wallet restores access. Connecting another wallet opens a different wallet-linked Amy identity.
AMY balance changes. Increasing the recognised AMY balance may move the account to a higher holder level. Decreasing the balance may move it to a lower level or LITE. The hourly holder rate that applies going forward changes with the recognised level. Falling below Bronze pauses hourly holder earning. Wallet-linked history and already-earned Points are not erased. Already-confirmed raffle entries remain valid. Feature eligibility may change where the current feature rules depend on holder level.
17. Using more than one wallet
Amy treats each wallet address as a separate account identity. A person may control more than one wallet. Amy does not currently verify one human being per wallet. Records and balances are not automatically combined. A social identity or verified email cannot remain actively connected to several Amy wallets at once. Amy does not provide a standard process for merging records from several wallets into one account. Each wallet must separately complete the required Amy account-verification process.
18. thirdweb and wallet access
thirdweb provides the wallet connection, in-app wallet and authentication infrastructure. Users may access an in-app wallet through supported authentication methods or connect an external wallet. The live sign-in window shows current options.
The authentication method used through thirdweb to access an in-app wallet is separate from the verified Amy email address used to complete the Amy account. Amy cannot manually recover or replace a wallet.
See Wallets & Safety for security and recovery guidance.

20. Amy's role
Amy provides:
- the account interface
- wallet-address-based Amy account records
- the Amy email-verification process
- the 18+ and policy acceptance declaration step and related acceptance record
- LITE and holder-level display
- recognised AMY balance checks used to determine holder levels
- the hourly Amy Points rules linked to recognised holder levels
- optional social-account linking
- account and verification support
- integration with thirdweb wallet infrastructure
Amy does not:
- perform formal legal identity verification for the basic Amy account
- verify a user's age through identity documents
- verify one human being per wallet
- merge several wallet accounts automatically
- count LP positions towards the AMY holder level
- treat the 18+ declaration as formal age verification
- guarantee that verification makes the account eligible for every feature
- guarantee that holding AMY or reaching a holder level makes the account eligible for every product or route
- operate third-party KYC or provider verification processes
- recover or replace lost wallets
- treat disconnecting as deleting the account
21. Worked examples
Example 1
Browsing as a visitor
A user opens Amy without connecting a wallet. They can browse available public information and disconnected-state screens, but Amy cannot show their wallet-linked account records.
Example 2
Wrong wallet connected
A user connects the wrong wallet and reaches the email-verification screen. They select Disconnect wallet, return to the wallet-selection screen and connect the intended wallet.
Example 3
Completing verification
A user connects a wallet, enters an email address, receives a six-digit code and enters it. They confirm that they are aged 18 or over and agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Amy records the user's declaration, acceptance time and the versions or effective dates of the policies presented. After verification, the account is complete.
Example 4
LITE user
A verified wallet holds 120 AMY. The account is shown as LITE. It can use the normal account features available to it but does not earn hourly holder Points.
Example 5
Reaching Bronze
A verified wallet reaches 300 recognised AMY. The account moves to Bronze and becomes eligible for the current Bronze hourly rate of 1 Amy Point per hour.
Example 6
LP position
A wallet holds 250 AMY and an AMY liquidity position. The LP position does not count towards the holder level. The account remains LITE because only the recognised AMY balance in the connected wallet is used.
Example 7
Falling below Bronze
A Bronze wallet later falls below 300 recognised AMY. The account returns to LITE and future hourly holder earning pauses. Already-earned Points, wallet-linked history and already-confirmed raffle entries remain.
22. Changes and current information
The live account and Profile views show the account state and holder level Amy currently recognises. The current holder thresholds and hourly rates are shown in this guide and the relevant live product information.
General account rules may change as Amy develops the product. Completed acceptance records remain part of the account history, and already-earned Points remain subject to the current Points rules.
Feature eligibility may have separate current rules. Supported sign-in methods are shown through the live thirdweb-powered window. The live verification screen shows the current account-completion steps.
Simple rule
Use this guide to understand Amy account states. Use the live account, Profile and feature screens to see your current verification, holder level and eligibility.
