Account Settings
Manage your profile, connected accounts, preferences, and customisation.
Account Settings allows you to view and manage the wallet connected to your Amy account, the verified email address linked to it and your optional social account connections. Your connected wallet address is the main identity Amy uses for your account.
1. What Account Settings is
Account Settings is where you can see and manage:
- the wallet currently connected to Amy
- the verified email address associated with that wallet
- optional X, Discord and Telegram connections
- connection and disconnection states
The panel shows what is currently linked and gives you the controls to update those connections.
2. Your wallet is the account identity
Your connected wallet address is the main identity Amy uses for your account. Amy associates the following with that wallet address:
- Amy Points
- referrals
- badges
- raffle entries and raffle history
- rewards
- account activity
- other wallet-linked records
The wallet address remains the source of truth even if you change or disconnect an email or social account.
Simple rule
Amy associates your account history with your wallet address. Email and social accounts are connected layers around it.
3. Connecting and signing in
thirdweb provides the underlying wallet connection, in-app wallet and authentication infrastructure. Amy provides the account interface and associates product records with the connected wallet address.
Supported connection and sign-in methods are shown in the live thirdweb-powered sign-in window. Users may currently be able to access Amy using methods such as Google, Apple, Facebook, email, phone, passkey or an existing external wallet.
4. In-app wallets and external wallets
In-app wallet. If you use a supported email, phone, passkey or social sign-in method, thirdweb may create or provide access to an in-app wallet associated with that authentication method. You should return using the same sign-in method.
External wallet. You may connect an existing compatible wallet. Connecting an external wallet does not give Amy or thirdweb control of it. Access and recovery remain with you and the wallet provider.
Amy does not hold or control private keys for either wallet type.
5. Disconnecting the wallet
Clicking Disconnect beside the wallet ends the current Amy session.
Disconnecting:
- logs you out
- disconnects the wallet from the current browser session
- does not delete the Amy account or erase Amy records associated with that wallet address
- does not transfer the account to another wallet
When you reconnect the same wallet address, Amy loads the records associated with that address.
Simple rule
Disconnecting the wallet logs you out. It does not delete the Amy records associated with that wallet address.
Amy may show a confirmation step before disconnecting. Disconnecting does not revoke permissions or approvals the wallet may previously have granted to external smart contracts. You must manage smart-contract approvals separately through your wallet or an appropriate approval-management tool.
6. Replacing or recovering a wallet
An Amy account cannot normally be moved from one wallet to another. If you lose access to a wallet, Amy does not provide a standard process for transferring the complete wallet-linked account. Points and history remain associated with the original wallet address.
Amy cannot manually recover, reset or replace a wallet.
In-app wallet. Use the original sign-in method connected to that wallet. Access recovery depends on the authentication method and provider associated with the in-app wallet. Amy cannot override Google, Apple, Facebook, phone, passkey or other third-party authentication and recovery processes. thirdweb provides the wallet infrastructure, but Amy cannot manually change the authentication method associated with the wallet.
External wallet. Access and recovery remain your responsibility through the relevant wallet provider. Amy cannot restore a seed phrase, private key or recovery phrase.
If you lose access to the required authentication method or wallet, Amy may be unable to restore access to the wallet-linked account.
7. Verified email address
After connecting a wallet, a verified Amy email address is required to complete the Amy account and use normal features. Each verified Amy email address can be connected to only one wallet at a time, and each wallet can have only one verified Amy email address at a time.
The email supports account verification, communications, eligibility for supported features and support or account administration. It does not replace the wallet as the account identity.
8. Disconnecting or changing email
When you disconnect the verified Amy email address:
- the wallet remains connected
- Points, referrals and history remain associated with the wallet address
- the account becomes unverified and normal use is blocked until another email is verified
- disconnecting the verified Amy email address does not change the sign-in method used for a thirdweb in-app wallet
The interface may show a verification prompt until verification is completed again.
Simple rule
Your records stay with the wallet, but normal account use requires a verified email address.
To change the verified Amy email address:
- Disconnect the current verified email.
- Add the new email address.
- Complete email verification.
This changes the Amy email layer only. It does not replace the connected wallet. Once disconnected, the email may be verified against another wallet. Each verified email can be connected to only one wallet at a time.
9. Optional social accounts
X, Discord and Telegram connections are optional. You do not need them to maintain a basic Amy account. Some optional quests, badges, leaderboard functions or campaigns may require a relevant social connection.
Each X, Discord or Telegram identity can be connected to only one Amy wallet at a time.
10. Disconnecting social accounts
You can disconnect X, Discord or Telegram independently. Disconnecting a social account:
- removes the link between that social identity and the Amy wallet
- does not disconnect the wallet or verified email
- does not remove Points or badges already awarded for completed activity
- may stop Amy from recognising future activity from that social account
- may affect eligibility for future social-linked quests, leaderboards or campaigns
Disconnecting a social identity does not delete that social account or change its settings on X, Discord or Telegram. After disconnection, the social identity may be connected to another wallet.
11. Connection statuses
These labels show Amy's current connection records. They do not provide broader identity verification.
12. Disconnecting compared with deleting
Disconnecting a connection is not the same as requesting account-data deletion.
Simple rule
Disconnecting a connection is not the same as requesting account-data deletion.
13. Account deletion and data requests
There is currently no in-app Delete Account button. You may ask Amy to review deletion of personal account data or submit another privacy request by emailing theteam@amyonbera.com or opening a support ticket in the Amy Discord.
When you submit a request:
- Amy will review it and may need to verify your connection to the account
- some operational, security, legal or transaction-related records may need to be retained where required or reasonably necessary
- blockchain transactions and public blockchain records cannot be deleted by Amy
- disconnecting a connection does not itself create a deletion request
14. Security
Amy and legitimate Amy support will never ask for:
- a seed phrase, private key or recovery phrase
- a wallet password or full authentication credentials
- remote access to the wallet
Amy support will never ask you to approve an unexpected wallet transaction as part of account recovery, identity checks or email verification.
You should not:
- share recovery information or send screenshots containing private credentials
- approve unexpected wallet requests
- trust unsolicited messages claiming to offer wallet recovery
- send assets to verify ownership
Always verify that support messages come from Amy's official channels. Always check that provider recovery pages belong to the official provider before entering login or recovery information.
15. Amy's role
Amy provides:
- the Account Settings interface
- Amy records associated with the connected wallet address
- Amy email-verification status
- optional social-account linking
- connection and disconnection controls
- account and privacy support
- integration with thirdweb infrastructure
Amy does not:
- hold or control private keys
- recover seed phrases or replace a lost wallet
- move the complete account history to another wallet
- operate or override Google, Apple, Facebook, phone, passkey or external-wallet authentication and recovery systems
- control thirdweb's underlying wallet infrastructure
- guarantee recovery if you lose access to the required sign-in method
- treat disconnecting as account deletion
- allow the same verified email or social identity to remain linked to multiple Amy wallets at the same time
- treat changing the verified Amy email as replacing the wallet
16. Getting help
Contact Amy if you have a problem with wallet connection, email verification, changing email, social connections, incorrect status, account access or a data-deletion or privacy request.
Provide non-sensitive details such as:
- wallet address
- verified Amy email address
- social username
- a screenshot of the visible error, checked for private credentials, authentication codes or recovery information
- date or approximate time of the problem
- browser or device type
- description of the issue
Contact Amy by emailing theteam@amyonbera.com or opening a support ticket in the Amy Discord.
Amy support will never need your seed phrase or private key.
17. Worked examples
Example 1
Logging out
A user clicks Disconnect beside the wallet. The session ends. Reconnecting the same wallet later restores the same Points, referrals and wallet-linked history.
Example 2
Changing email
A user disconnects the current verified email. The wallet remains connected. The account becomes unverified until a new email is added and verified.
Example 3
thirdweb sign-in and Amy verification
A user accesses an in-app wallet using Google through thirdweb and verifies a separate email inside Amy. Disconnecting the Amy email makes the account unverified but does not change the Google sign-in method associated with the in-app wallet.
Example 4
Disconnecting X
A user disconnects X. Previously awarded Points and badges remain, but Amy may no longer recognise later X activity from that account.
Example 5
Lost external wallet
A user loses access to an external wallet. Amy cannot recover the external wallet or transfer the complete wallet-linked Amy account to another wallet. The user must use the wallet provider's recovery process.
Example 6
Data-deletion request
A user asks Amy to review deletion of personal account data by emailing theteam@amyonbera.com or opening a Discord support ticket. Disconnecting the wallet or verified Amy email address does not create an account-data deletion request.
18. Changes and current information
Available sign-in methods, supported wallets and social options may change over time.
The live Account Settings panel shows the currently connected wallet, verified email status, connected socials and available controls.
Simple rule
Use this guide to understand how Amy account connections work. Use the live Account Settings panel to see the current status of your account.
